About This Place

Located at 10a Queen St, Bath, Wild Cafe is a charming destination that delights breakfast lovers and café enthusiasts alike. This quaint establishment stands out with its cozy ambiance and large windows that invite natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly draws you in. As a food reviewer for Grubbio, I found Wild Cafe to be a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking a delightful culinary experience in the heart of the city.

The menu at Wild Cafe presents an enticing array of options, with a special focus on their signature pancakes. From the Mixed Berry & Yoghurt to the indulgent Chocolate Brownie & Banana, you're guaranteed to find a sweet treat that satisfies your cravings, all priced reasonably at £11.50. For those looking for something savory, the Bacon Pancakes offer a delightful twist. One of the customers raved about the pancakes, stating, "I had the most amazing pancakes!"—a sentiment that resonates with my own experience.

For those seeking a spirited refreshment, the café boasts a selection of beverages, including classic choices like Gin & Tonic and Espresso Martini. The local Bath Ales Wild Hare and Weston's Organic Cider add a regional flair to the drink menu, ensuring there's something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the hazelnut hot chocolate, praised for its perfection according to another customer. It truly is a must-try for any hot chocolate aficionado!

The attentive staff add to the overall charm of Wild Cafe. Their welcoming nature and prompt service amplify the enjoyable dining experience. While one guest noted the coffee shop's aesthetic as "funky" and delightful, another mentioned the welcoming staff and quick service. It's clear that Wild Cafe has successfully cultivated a lively and pleasant environment for its patrons.

However, potential visitors should be advised that the toilet facilities may prove challenging for those with physical disabilities, being located down some tricky stairs. Despite this small hiccup, the general consensus from customers is overwhelmingly positive, with many vowing to return during their next visit to Bath.

In conclusion, Wild Cafe is a standout destination for brunch and casual dining, boasting delicious food, comforting drinks, and a sweet atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for hearty pancakes or a lush hot chocolate, this café likely has something that will leave you more than satisfied.

I had the best food in the UK here and no regrets at all. Enjoyed the atmosphere and stuff. Would be nice to hear more catchy and modern music :) Also, such a handsome and nice waiter works here! Loved the place and will come back

Cute quaint cafe tucked away near the city centre. The large windows are decorated really nicely and the interior feels really cosy. Our food was lovely and served very quickly! The ice teas were sublime

Lovely cafe. Chorizo eggs Benedict is delicious! The pancakes were very yummy as well. They made the best hazelnut hot chocolate I have had in England - this is my favourite cafe drink and they did a perfect drink! Highly recommend anyone to try their hot chocolate with hazelnut in it. Will 100% go again if down in bath.

Really lovely cafe. Had the most amazing pancakes! Welcoming staff and quick service. Funky decor. Just got information the toilet is pretty inaccessible if you have any physical disabilities/difficulties as it's down some tricky stairs and you have to duck under a low beam.

A cozy cafe with a menu catering to all tastes, this cafe offered us a delicious and filling breakfast for a very good price. The portions were filling, clean and aesthetically pleasing!

We came here on a whim for breakfast to escape the crowd at Bath city centre and it was the best decision we've made that day. It's small yet cosy. It can also be very busy (judging from the queue that had formed by the time we left) so get there early. My husband and I unanimously decided to try their Wild Breakfast and never regretted that decision. Flavourful, filling and satisfying on a rainy, windy morning! We could tell they use quality ingredients. I loved how the bacon and black pudding were properly cooked, and the sausage was very meaty. I don't usually enjoy halloumi but this one was an exception -- it was very tasty! The beans were great too! Even the mushroom was memorable. This is probably one of the best English breakfasts I've had so far. Well done! And the staff are lovely and accommodating, one of the reasons why I gave it 5 stars. Highly recommended.
